Epic Games – Activation via a purchased account:

Required Information:

  • Login credentials for the Epic Games account – the email and password provided by the seller.
  • Access to the account’s email inbox (if provided) for any verification codes.
  • Installed Epic Games Launcher on your PC (to play the game) and an internet connection.

Activation Steps (using the purchased Epic account):

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher. On the login screen, enter the provided email and password for the Epic account (log out of your own account if you were logged in).
  2. If the account has two-factor authentication enabled (Epic prompts for a code), retrieve this code from the email (or from the seller) and complete the login.
  3. Once logged in, check the launcher library to ensure the purchased game is available and is the correct edition. Verify that the account has no unwanted data (e.g., an in-game profile or progress from prior use).
  4. Change the account’s credentials to your own:
    • Change the email: Log in to the Epic Games website account management and change the email address to one of your own. Confirm the change via the code sent to the original email (make sure you have access to it via the seller or provided inbox).
    • Change the password: Set a new strong password in the Epic Games account settings (under Password & Security).
    • Add 2FA: Enable two-factor authentication (e.g., via email, SMS, or authenticator app) in the account’s security settings.
  5. Use this account only to play the purchased game. It is not recommended to use it as a primary account for additional purchases on the Epic Store, since the account’s region cannot be changed and you might encounter issues with payments (for example, if the credit card is from a different country).
  6. To ensure the game launches properly, always verify that you are logged into the Epic Launcher with this purchased account when you want to play (the game is tied to this account and will not be accessible from a different Epic account).

Important Notices:

  • If you enter the wrong login or password repeatedly, the account may be temporarily locked. Use copy-paste for the credentials to avoid typos, and check that you didn’t include an extra space when copying.
  • The purchased Epic Games account has a fixed region – you will not be able to change the country in the profile. Also, using payment methods from another region on this account might cause difficulties, so it’s better to use your personal account for new purchases.
  • In case of any login issues or problems with the account, contact the seller (or the support of the site where you bought the account) through the appropriate support center.
