Nintendo – Activation via a purchased account:

Required Information:

  • Login credentials for the purchased Nintendo account – the email/ID and password.
  • Access to the email inbox associated with that account (if provided) to confirm logins or changes.
  • A Nintendo Switch console with internet access.

Activation Steps (using the purchased Nintendo account on the console):

  1. On the Switch console, go to User settings and add a New User. Create a new profile with any nickname (e.g., the game’s name).
  2. When prompted to link a Nintendo Account, select “Sign In and Link.”
  3. Sign in with the provided email/ID and password for the Nintendo Account.
  4. If login verification is required (e.g., via a code sent to email), retrieve the code from the provided email inbox and enter it.
  5. The account will now be linked to the new user profile on the console. Next, open the Nintendo eShop and choose the newly added profile (the purchased account) when asked which user to use.
  6. In the eShop, go to the profile icon (top right) and select Redownload or Available for re-download. The purchased game should be listed there. Begin downloading the game to the console.
  7. After the game is downloaded, you can play it on any user profile on that console (similar to other platforms, the game on a console is tied to the console and available to all users as long as the account that owns the game remains on the console).
  8. Keep the purchased account on the console. You may ensure the console is set as the primary console for that account (by default, the first console the account logs into becomes primary). This ensures offline access to the account’s games on that console.
  9. Do not use the account for other purposes or sign it in on multiple consoles simultaneously to avoid access restrictions. Primarily play from your main profile (where your save progress will be recorded).

Important Notices:

  • One Nintendo Account can only have one primary console at a time. If it is logged into another console and that one is set as primary, the games will become locked on the original console when offline.
  • If any issues occur (for example, the account is unlinked from the console or the game disappears from the eShop), promptly contact the seller for support.
