Required Information:
- Login credentials for the Ubisoft account – the email (or username) and password provided by the seller.
- Access to the email inbox associated with the account (if provided) for verification/2FA codes.
- Installed Ubisoft Connect client on PC and internet access.
Activation Steps (using the purchased Ubisoft account):
- Launch the Ubisoft Connect application and log out of your own account if you are logged in.
- Log in using the provided email/username and password for the Ubisoft account.
- If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the code from the email or authenticator app (depending on the account’s settings; if you don’t have the code, request it from the seller).
- Once logged in, check the games library – it should contain the purchased game. Verify that the game is present (you do not need to launch it now, just confirm it’s available).
- Make changes to secure the account:
- Change the email: On the Ubisoft account management website, change the contact email to your own. Confirm this change via the code sent to the original email (make sure you have access as instructed by the seller).
- Change the password: Set a new strong password for the account (under Security settings on the Ubisoft account page or directly via Ubisoft Connect settings).
- Add 2FA: Enable two-factor authentication for the Ubisoft account (e.g., through Google Authenticator or email verification) if it’s not already on.
- Use the purchased account only to play the specific game. It’s not recommended to use it as your main Ubisoft account for additional purchases, as issues may arise (for example, with store regional availability or payments).
Important Notices:
- If any issues occur with the account (e.g., inability to log in or the game is missing from the library), promptly contact the seller or the support of the marketplace where you purchased the account.
- Do not use the account for games other than the ones it came with. Also, avoid contacting Ubisoft’s official support to inform them the account was purchased – such action may result in the account being suspended.
